I know Men's Tennis isn't exactly a rating grabber and he's also not American, but this dude is only 28 and he's not slowing down anytime soon. He's got be the one of the most under exposed, high level athlete, especially compared to his accomplishments.

He's sort of boring. He's not American. And he looks a little goofy. And he's not controversial in a day and age of publicity whoring.

Obviously the things he is doing are amazing and on a historic level. But I find men's tennis unwatchable personally. Power servers destroyed my interest in the sport. I prefer to watch women's tennis not only because I want to have sex with them but because there are fewer power servers.

I don't think that's really true. His matches usually feature a bunch of dramatic rallies with good saves and shotmaking. It's not like he's playing that awful serve-and-volley stuff that dominated the early 00's.

next time you watch one of his interviews pay attention to how many times he analyzes his own game as if he was some guy on espn, you may not have noticed he does it because he slyly slips it in there, talkin about stuff like "im playing extremely well" "my *insert skill* was very good"...on the other hand nadal is the polar opposite and is overly humble, instead of that third person shit that federer spouts he mostly just says "i tried my best" and shrugs

It's a bit like saying Greg Maddux was an exciting pitcher because he pitched in some close games and really hit the corners of the strikezone.

Bad metaphor. No pitchers are exciting, except maybe Randy Johnson before he got control of his stuff and you didn't know if he was about to concuss the batter/explode a pigeon.

Seriously though, Federer's as fun to watch as anyone else out there going by any tennis-related criteria. I get how some people might get a lot more roused by Nadal, but that's all to do with his hotpants and Mediterranean swarthiness.
