That, and maybe the time one are probably the only tough ones.  I don't recall the game being particularly hard (other than cheap shit like the lengthy submarine mini-level or the level where you need to whip that fucking grouchy dog around) until the last level.

Loved EWJ as a kid, I remember beating on Hard without too much trouble.

You cant tell if these cheevs are gonna be that hard, like beat the game without dying, you might be able to save often and reload your saves when you die.

I wouldve bought this if it was just a straight port of classic EWJ, perhaps as a double pack with EWJ2. Dont want this nu-skool fugly 2.5D shit. I dunno I'll check the trial version.

We will likely be reamed for 1200 points

Every game has baby easy achievements compared to Mushihime-sama Futari, Espgaluda 2, and Raiden 4.

I'll be buying EWJ if it's 800 points. I love challenging achievements so it will be fun to 200.

Looks like it's still 2D, just cleaned up significantly.  The warp levels look like they've been reworked to be less headache inducing.

With all the extra content, there's no way it'll be a spacepoint less than 1200.

Worms 2 for 400 pts. is the only news I care about here. I love Worms. I suck at it, but it's fun to play local co-op.

EWJ is awesome. The new co-op stages were surprisingly pretty fun too.

I bought this game. How hard is it to beat the game without dying iconoclast? It doesnt seem to be a very hard game really, the patterns are pretty basic and stuff.

Also can you get the multiplayer achievements locally? Or does it have to be over XBL?

Personally I don't think it's very hard at all, but the achievement is still pretty rare so maybe I'm in the minority. There's only one stage that was a real roadblock for me, and that's the bungie jumping snot boss. Until you can figure out how to consistently get him up against the wall, it's pretty hard to kill him 3x in a row without dying yourself. People seem to have trouble on the puppy love stage, but I'm guessing they don't realize you can whip him again in mid air in order to send him further. You can blow past all of the seesaws that way easily. And the final stage can kill you fast since there are spikes everywhere, but they aren't too hard to avoid. The rest is pretty easy imo.

Don't know if you can do the multi achievements locally, I did them all on XBL. The co-op missions are actually really fun so they are worth playing anyway.

thanks for the comments, yeah Ive been reading that the snot boss is a problem, but I read you can practice individual levels so I think I might just practice up on him. Im pretty keen to go for the achievement, I havent really tested myself for awhile so Im sure Im gonna enjoy this.
