Yeah they did. It works just fine online. Then again, I never had any problems playing online even before the patch.

Is it just me or does the game feel really stiff?

The graphics are great, but I got bored and turned it off before the first level ended.

i just got it and i feel the same way. i hope it gets better later on. i think im annoyed by how slow your character moves

once you buy a few +Speed items it feels a lot better. sucks to balance your game with an inverse fun curve, though

once you upgrade all your stats in this game, it becomes such a joke, even on the hardest difficulty. the game was okay, it got better as i upgraded stats. there's a trick that requires a 2nd controller to get like $5k worth of cash in minutes and you could upgrade your characters to max on the first level if you dont feel like grinding

The art design is great but the game is VERY meh. I'm pretty disappointed.

Also, the sound design is an embarrassment. Either my copy is glitched or there are missing SFX all over the place. Like when all the guys pile on you and you have to charge up to escape, there are literally NO sound effects, it's totally silent.

I heard that the game was started in Canada but for some reason they moved production to Ubisoft Shanghai. Ugh

The no sound effect thing is messed up, yeah.  The weird thing is that dogs make noises, but humans don't.  The fact that some enemies make noises while others don't just doesn't make it seem like a decision they made.

how do you do that?

get 2 controllers, 1st controller will be the receiving character and 2nd controller is the one lending out the money (important since only progress is saved on 1st controller character apparently)

go to the shopping district and enter a store (the first one you see is the video store with scott's late fees). on 2nd controller, keep pushing circle to lend money to the first character. after you're done, press start and go to return to map to auto save the game, then quit to main menu and repeat.

to speed up the process, use the cheat code that enables you to use the same character for all players (down, r1, up, l1, triangle, circle on title screen). the code will money double for 1 character by using the same character on both controllers. after you're done, pretty much 1 of your characters will be a money bank and you'll be able to use that character to lend money to your other level 1 characters.

after you get a few thousand cash, go to that same video store and pay scott's late fees, then buy the appropriate items to max out your character in like 2 minutes. one item give out 1500 XP and the stat ones give out like +20.

also, fuck the ending credits, unskippable and it's so long that my ps3 controller turns off due to inactivity
