Are you going to have to stand to play Kinects?

Who the fuck wants to stand for two hours while playing a game?

Is that really the 360 redesign? it looks like a one of those mini Dell towers.  It seems to have a lot of air vents, so good on them for trying to avoid the heat problem the second time around.  Including wi-fi is nice too.

But this is a redesign of a console.  I have no reason to buy this like I didn't have one to buy the slim PS3.

The slim PS2 came at a perfect time; my PS2's disc tray was about to die right when they launched it.

if tretton announced a final price drop for the ps2 to somewhere around $59.99-$69.99 in a special "last production run" color, that would be a nice sendoff for one of the greatest consoles ever made

i'd buy one for the bedroom tv

Who gives a shit what it looks like as long as the design makes it more quiet and still plays the best games on consoles this gen? I have a ton of GameStop credit just waiting to buy another 360 after I get settled in Portland.

Methodis do you keep a pic of your PS3 in your wallet to J/O to?

i really don't care what it looks like. i'm more interested in the specs.

last year there were rumors that msoft might put out a system with more ram and i hope that comes true.

yeah, i really don't give a fuck what my videogame systems look like, they're all ugly as sin to me

besides, you can make it as sleek and "sexy" (hate that term) as you want, but as soon as you turn it on in front of your friends and an androgynous armor-wearing ladyboy prances across the screen babbling moonspeak all that shit goes right out the window

more RAM (or whatever is needed to make the dashboard not lag), better reliability, and redesigned dpad (I know its not going to happen) = awesomeness.

there was some special green controller that came with a system bundle sold overseas  a while back and allegedly had a better d-pad, but as far as i know there was never any official release (they'll never officially admit their d-pad is herky-jerky shit)

I don't want to sound rude, but why would they make new controllers when this slim Xbox is a way to relaunch it with Natal aka controller-less gaming?  Not that I wouldn't appreciate a perfected 360 controller.

looks ass, but then again so did the 360. So does the ps3. so does the blah blah blah.

But will it overheat?! that's my issue. Like, that's the sole reason why I've held off buying one.*

sounds like using this new 360, you don't need an extra power supply/brick for Kinect.

nice. still is the power supply internal or not?

regardless while i want one now i think i'll hold off until my warranty expires in oct.

that way i won't have to worry about any "issues" that may arise from this redesign.

X360 launched at 399 in 2005, here we are in 2010 with a redesign, why is it 299? I was considering getting it but this price is exorbitant

Kinect is also $149. Just a few dollars more and you can get a Wii with that kinda money. :lol Good luck Microsoft.

Because it comes with the 100 dollar Wi-fi dongle for pretty much free, with a smaller system and a bigger hard drive than the current $299 model.

Haha I completely forgot about the USB support they put out recently!
Yeah, me too. I was even thinking "Everyone will have to re-rip any CDs they've got on 360," but since those are already data which is internal to the system, it's coo'.
