MS has unleashed the "Value" chart  :lol

(Image removed from quote.)

Lol at adding the WiiFit board to pump up the total Wii pricing.

And you don't need the Ps Move navigation controllers.

MS is getting desperate :lol

Gimped 4gb console but matte black. Sheeit. I've had my 120gb 360 for less than 9 months and with no extra media it's nearly hit the 120gb limit and I only have the games installed I'm playing on and off and a bunch of xbl titles. I guess installing isn't so much of a problem though considering the drive is apparently reasonably quiet (read not a complete piece of shit). Still no noise > less noise.

:lol value chart. FULL BODY PLAY :drool

Will the arcade have a hard-drive bay? I think they should have at least put in 20GB considering how many must-have arcade titles and game DLC are available.

Late adopters are not playing "must-have arcade titles" or downloading game DLC.

Wow, Sony's games aren't just in regular HD, they're in Blu-ray powered HD. I knew there was some magic in their pixels that I couldn't articulate until just now, I knew it.

Kinect technology and software is improving "every day", according to Child of Eden designer Tetsuya Mizuguchi.

Speaking to CVG, the Q Entertainment head addressed concerns over player lag evident in some Kinect games, arguing that nothing is perfect at the early stages of new technology.

"Every day the technology and software improves, so we're constantly tuning it," he said. "Nothing is optimal at the beginning of a new technology, but it's been getting better and better the more we work with it."

Questions of lag have dampened excitement around Kinect since it was first announced at E3 2009, though Microsoft has argued that the lag of the device should be judged in terms of experience rather than "milliseconds".

On opting to work with Kinect immediately as it arrives in public arms, Mizuguchi-san said he's always been attracted by the lure of new toys.

"I really love working with new technology and seeing what sort of experience we can create around it," he said. "The Natal (now Kinect) technology happened to be the first one we got our hands on, so we wanted to see how it could work with Child of Eden."

Move support for Child of Eden is yet to be confirmed, he said.

Look out for the full interview with Mizuguchi-san shortly and hit the link to watch the first Child of Eden trailer. As Rez fans, we're excited as Ashley Cole in Romford Yates.

Microsoft's chart is colorful, easy to understand and has pictures laying everything out clearly. Sony's chart is dull and looks like something a bunch of businessmen made.

is it disturbing that i would expect people to say this exact shit?

It is interesting how Sony keeps doggedly pursuing with their "more is better" mentality, despite it never getting them anywhere.

Their entire marketing department needs to hit the bricks.

If Sony really feels that more is better, why do they remove features from every new iteration of the PS3?

Backwards compatibility - GONE

SD card slots - GONE

Other OS - GONE

Kinect...$89

Quote
Microsoft's Kinect was just confirmed to be priced at $149.99, some believe the price is a tad bit high for what the Xbox 360 ad-on does. If you pre-order Kinect today you will set your purchase price at just $89 dollars. To acquire this super deal do as follows:

Head To Toys-R-US And Add Kinect To Your Cart
Apply the code: 939418 In The Cart
It's that simple.
Hurry before it expires or taken down.

http://www.ironstarmovement.com/profiles/blogs/kinect-reasonably-priced-at-89

Apparently it's save 40% on all videogame accessories

Despite initial scepticism over its price, Kinect looks set to be a big hit.

Retailers are reporting high pre-order numbers for the device, which will be available in November for £129.99 bundled with Kinect Adventures.

Sources says they expect advance orders to topple half a million in the UK by launch.

I think kinect is either going to be very successful or very strong out of the gate but loses its steam fast. Dance Central will be huge though.

Move is going to bomb hard.

edit: honestly there should just be a 150 dancecentral/kinect bundle.  Everything else is super derivative of the wii and I don't expect that to highlight the platform.
