Final Fantasy X-2 Annihilates Final Fantasy XIII

Okay so after completing FFXIII, I have started playing the only FF game I haven't finished. FFX-2. After going in with no expectations, this game is FUN. The game is basically everything FFXIII isn't. It has a lighthearted story with no BS like fal cie, l'cie, psycom blah blah. You can go wherever you want in spira and do missions in any order and this is game isn't walking on one line. The battle system is blazing fast and it has tons of minigames with talkative townspeople! Who could of thought?

I refuse to believe that the same people worked on FFXIII also worked on this game.

Also, Brother > any character in FFXIII just for the lols.

X-2 was fun to play, it's just that it never went anywhere, particularly for the average playthrough. If you want a half decent payoff, you apparently have to trigger certain events at certain times (you'll not know what they are) and perhaps do multiple playthroughs.

Yeah, the arcane requirements to "100%" X-2 and get the best ending were awful... also not a fan of the constant minigames in the series and the whole "been there, done that" of the game world. X-2 was a pretty disappointing game for me.

there were like one or two stupid things you had to do to get the best ending, but getting 100% was piss-easy. there was a total of like 120% of stuff to do in the game, so as long as you explored a lot you could easily get 100%.
