They split from one big team of ~25 employees during Brutal Legend development to 4 smaller XBLA/PSN teams each heading up a project.  Stacked is a different team.

I only played the demo, but the combat was such a repetitive affair I highly doubt I'm gonna buy the full game. Kinda disappointing, I want to like Shafer's games - I love their dialog and "style", plus the dude shares my birthday - but the gameplay is just never up to snuff. Didn't like Psychonauts or Brutal Legend either

I loved it, but I'm desperate for any kind of turn-based RPG on a console.
