I've cleared through Chapter 6 hard.

Unfortunately the places wifi has decided to start fagging out on me the past few days so I'm stuck solo running for the moment. That's probably for the better if I want to up anyone besides Soma. I've got Alucard's best sword but lack all his spells, mreh.

Does Soma pick up in usefulness as you get through Hard? He really started to run out of steam in the end of my normal run but it seems like his new hard mode equipment is closing the gap with Shanoa and Charlotte.

re: Soma, I just took my pussy Soma with no good weapons into Chapter 6 hard and battled to get a few chests. Some awesome weapons dropped pretty quick.

demi I can rush ya some levels, my Shanoa is pretty powerful now. I'll be on in about 6 hours time.
Oh, I need to boost the "Poetic Justice" cheev on Normal Drac (tried with Imps and Succubi but no luck). If anyone is keen to go for that.

I'm usually up to play whenever (not tonight though). I've only played through the game once and I've been switching between Alucard and Shanoa, so none of my characters are very strong. But from what I've played 6 players is pretty overkill imo. The entire stage just gets annihilated with no resistance.

Why is it that when I play solo or with my XBL party, I can play up to chapter 3 on hard, but when I host a public match I can't go past level 3 normal? Weird as shit and it isn't happening to my party-mate

Its because someone that has joined your game is only up to level 3 normal. If someone joins your game who hasnt even passed level 1 yet, you wont be able to select any other stage.

Its annoying sometimes, but I generally dont mind helping newer players out. Matchmaking could really use a filtering system.

Oh, it happened two matches in a row, I guess it was a coincidence.

They shoudl at least let you filter normal/hard. Why the fuck do they offer a 'custom' option and then just let you pick your countrty? That's an options menu item, not a search filter.

I did it with some randoms, it was awesome. Its easy to boost but you need 6 ppl

I played for seven hours straight on Sunday and got me the Alucard Shield. Got two more right after the first one dropped.

Drac finally dropped me a Valmanway yesterday, such a cool sword.

Sorry for dashing yesterday Trent, my nose was running off my face and I was feeling pretty intense. Damn colds. Glad we got those achievements, though!

I managed to solo Drac on hard for the first time last night. It felt good.

The item I really want now is DEATH SCYTHE for Soma. I cant solo him on hard with my current Soma set up so I'll need to do some tweaking.

congrats! I need another 2000 or so kills.

I got the mighty Death Scythe, now I'm just grinding Drac on hard for his rare goodies. Winged Boots, Drac's Tunic, Claimh Solais and Valmanway. I'd be satisfied with just winged boots, really.

Also picked Charlotte up and working on leveling her up.

Game is still awesome but man I would kill for some new levels, bosses and loot. They need to offer at least 3 new maps with the DLC

No offline multiplayer. You can play it by yourself if you want though, it's not broken or anything.
