XBL until 2012
distinguished mentally-challenged move - and we have Sony to thank. If it wasn't for their cocksucking PLUS pay for service then MS wouldn't be able to point at it and go "Look at this pay for service! it's fucking DIRE compared to ours! We have clearly been under charging! Up those $$$ people!". stupid dumb move from MS.

Why would installing a virus on your PC justify the new price?
Nintendo should have a Virtual Console annual fee instead of forcing you to pay for each overpriced rom dump individually. Or they can give both options.
Tons of Devs/Pubs would love to make DLC free (many have been vocal), the problem is that iti is Microsoft's playground and what they say goes.
BTW, you guys are welcome. Or did you all forget who gave you a shitload of free Live?
... That doesn't make any sense. There's is free dlc on the marketplace yes? You make it sound like Microsoft forces publishers to charge for dlc when they wouldn't want to.
Considering the fall update will have a voice chat upgrade (audio will be of a higher quality), I'm sure there are other things like a larger friends list or ESPN3 that they can hold up as being worth more money. It's not, but it'll be enough for a good fraction of people to get over it for the most part.

They said there was a limit on what they could do for free.
