Megan Walker’s family say a friend’s bull-mastiff cross attacked the 9-year-old after it heard barking on a Nintendo DS computer game.The dog, named Saracen, attacked Walker, dragging her off the sofa and proceeded to bite her several times on the floor, before ripping the terrified youngster's lip off.Walker had been playing the Nintendogs DS game at a friends house in Bolton, when the dog pounced. The attack, which occurred on September 19, resulted in the dog being put down. Speaking about her ordeal, Walker told the Daily Mail: ‘I turned on the Nintendo. It barked and Saracen dragged me off the couch by my foot. I was scared.'Thankfully, officers who attended the scene put the piece of lip on ice and the skilled surgeons at Manchester Children’s Hospital were able to re-attach it.Jean Taylor, Megan’s grandmother, said: 'People should be told not to play it when there are dogs in the room. I blame the game for what happened to Megan.'
