Morphix, Ender's Game is probably the most enjoyable sci-fi book I've ever read. I haven't read a ton, but damn son, I love that book. I hope the audio cd is well done, word has it a movie is being kicked around, but I don't know how well the concept would translate to a movie. The book is in my top ten, easily. I really want to read the rest of the series, but it's been so long since I read Ender's Game I'd have to start with that again.

Yeah I haven't heard many promising things about the sequels, which is why I haven't bothered to read them even though I read Ender's Game over 12 years ago.

Ender's Shadow is told by his young "apprentice" in Ender's Game (IIRC his name was Bean?), and has more to do with living in Ender's Shadow and growing up "on the streets". Its no Ender's Game, but its pretty damn good.

I'm probably going to pick up the Ultimate Bond DVDs with the money, or the HD-DVD attachment for the 360. Either that, or I will save it for the PS3, because MGS4 is eventually going to come out, and that's really the only thing I want it for at the moment (besides being curious about Resistance).

This year is also lacking on DVDs.... I expected to see M:I3 or that HD-DVD drive under the tree... and that didn't happen, sadly enough. Damn. I still have presents to go tomorrow, so we will see.

Actually, Speaker for the Dead is pretty decent if you only read half of it, then skip to the very last chapter.
