yeah, that's the worst part. I thought the point of having these characters was to add personality into a poker match, and while they do talk and interact, it feels completely separate from actually playing the poker.

I managed to get it because the heavy had a 2/3 and went all in (3,000 vs my 40,000) so I took him out.

Picked up Chime yesterday and played it some, really fun game but it has this kind of weird mix of relaxation and quick tempo. Music's great though, worth it just for that I'd say.

I haven't yet, because it'll take me a while to get to the nearest companion. I might do that later, since even going back to an old save with my regular character isn't getting anything done.

The game is pretty great, but it's also pretty damn hard to 5 star or even SURVIVE some of the stages after the beginning. When you're going super fast it gets kind of tough to control and don't get me started on trying to land in a tiny ring from a parachute deploy after going 5 million mph. That's about the only thing that actually annoys me: doing a 30-60 second fantastic run full of hugs, kisses, stunts, boards and then missing the landing and getting 0 points. >_< Should just be a point deduction for not landing.

It's cool. I know you're good for it and I'm in no rush to get my Mafia II on. You can still get the objectives for any of the games in the treasure hunt until the 20th, so plenty of time

Amnesia isn't that scary outside a few areas, you'll be fine. It's just a darn good game. Very fun to play.

I hear you. I've started Condemned three different times, keep quitting before I get very far. The game's audio is really, really effective.

The first Condemned is really creepy. The end portions are freaky as hell. The 2nd game though... lololol MUTANT BEAR ATTACK lololol

For me the only games that really creep me out are Fatal Frame, Condemned, parts of Silent Hill (1's school, 2's prison), parts of Amnesia, parts of Penumbra. Siren is weird, I don't find it scary because the challenge of actually having to play well makes it feel more like a game. Whereas on the other side of the spectrum the lack of challenge in RE where you just kill everything your way makes it feel like a game as well.

Is there anything in Fatal Frame as scary as the mirror scene in Silent Hill 3? That was probably the freakiest videogame moment that I ever experienced.

I only played the first FF but it was scary as hell. I never even finished it because I could only play it in small bursts. Depends on how you feel about Japanese ghost stuff. If things like the ring creep you out than FF will be pretty scary. I was playing the first FF while living in this Japanese dorm where you had to go through a dark alleyway and empty streets whenever you went out at night and it made that really disturbing!

Thanks to InfectedGib I got a chance to play Mafia II. Game is very immersive. Driving around the period piece city listen to old-time radio is a cool experience. I thought I read somewhere before release that you have to follow the traffic rules and stop at lights and stuff? Didn't really notice early on but I tried to stop at red lights when I saw them. I wish there was a car view with a rear view mirror because if you stop at a stop sign it's hard to see oncoming traffic before you turn into a lane.

Graphics are pretty nice. I'm maxing it out and get around 30fps probably.

do you have physx on? there is a trick to make it run a lot better with physx on

Nope, I don't dare turning on physx in any game ever. You either need a super powerful card or a 2nd SLI card that only handles physics for that stuff and I have neither. I barely get playable framerates in graphic intensive games like this as it is!
