My official title is: Student Support Services, and my department is IITS (Information & Instructional Technology Services). Basically, I'm a fairly-well trained PC tech for anyone on campus, from students to professors.
The bulk of my job is help desk work, where I'm either working on a student's machine, or I'm going out on a call to a staff member on campus to do any of a million and a half things.
I'll be applying for an open manager position when the applications start in a week or so.
