Are you even supposed to shave cats or is it just a thing that some owners simply want to do and use "hot summer" as an excuse? Cause I understand you have to groom some cats by brushing their coats so it doesn't get matted and knotty. I'm just not sure it works like say people who live in Florida and have dogs meant for snowy climates. Cats just don't give a shit about that?

It's weird how all the Furry suits are this uniform kind of stuffed-animal looking costume. If being a furry is simply about dressing up as an animal, why don't they ever wear realistic costumes, or like something you'd find in a Halloween store. It's always the same stuffed animal look.
