Monkey Island is *really* weird.

I liken it to a cartoon. In that way, it doesn't really feel that weird at all. Weird in what way? How it plays? It's pretty standard point and click adventure but perfected. How the story plays out? It's pretty standard Lucasarts. It's charming and unique, but hardly weird outside of a few gaming conventions (duels, for instance).

When I think of a weird game, I think of something like Mister Mosquito, whose premise is absolutely ridiculous. A game about a kid who wants to be a pirate? Quirky sense of humor, yes. Weird, no.

So yeah, I dunno if defeating the final boss with cola really equates to being weird at all. How's that weird? I find that hilarious, not weird.

But what are you talking about? Page refreshes pretty quickly and the new edit post bit is nice.

Oh, I see what you're talking about now. The actual loading of the pages/new stuff, yeah. That's a bit hit and miss. It loads quick sometimes but then it drags on trying to find the latest "last read" for me.
