GAF hates to admit that they're wrong so when they found out that goofy and quirky pedarem was a convicted pedophile, rather than distancing themselves or even saying "well, he's a pedophile but I find his distinguished mentally-challenged Youtube videos funny," they started trying to discredit the fact that he is a pedophile.
It's classic narcissism: they believe that what they like is a reflection and identity of them. It explains all of the macfags who consider liking Apple to be a major part of their identity. To attack Apple is to attack them. Same thing goes for pedarem. To them, liking that goofy pedophile on Youtube means that they condone pedophilia (because they assume what they like to be a part of their identity), but at the same time, they don't want to admit that they erred in judgement. Hence all of those stupid and shitty rationalizations. They don't even realize they're condoning pedophilia because maintaining their identity is priority numero uno.
