I don't think that's fair. In 08 Dax was literally a kid not old enough to vote whose posts were in line with the general "Obama fanboy" mentality of the poli thread. Like Cheebs and many others he disappeared after the election ended, but unlike them he re-appeared recently. He's more serious and makes very impressive posts now. He's no longer posting comments about cool stuff Obama did on youtube, he's actually debating policy with the more serious posters.

dax01 first appeared on gaf as a huge halo/star trek fan. he took halo way too serious "oh the rings are a metaphor for the middle classes" blah blah blah. with ghaleongb being the head honchi of halo gaf he soon started to suck up to him and copied most of his political opinions and shit. he's alright i guess there are way worse posters.

The monotheistic religions are seen as an improvement over the ancient, polytheistic and pagan beliefs. The OT (Torah) takes great pride in conquering the old gods, but notice how in the bible it doesn't say the old gods don't EXIST. It just says to worship the one god. The Qur'an does so similarly in regards to ancient Saudi pagan religions. They take great pride in this and have so since their inception. Which is what has resulted into what you see today.
