Well, to be fair: He isn't
exactly wrong. GAF hates game piracy, lets movie/tv/music piracy slide unless posters are complete idiots (like the "POP-GAF chainsaw massacre") and admit to it in public.
I mean there's a lot of that flip-flopping around. I'm not agreeing with his "we should be protected as well!" but 'Lore keeps flip-flopping in policies and some of those policies shouldn't be implemented in the first place if that's how it's going to be.
Frankly, them dropping the piracy rule would improve the board ten-fold since posters wouldn't have to tip toe around not admitting to piracy but also not admitting to piracy. But you know they won't do that since "game developers" post on the board (spoiler: only to shill their next game!) to where we can't hurt their feelings that someone thinks their game isn't worth $60 and chose to pirate it/"buy it used" instead.
Keeping the gay/black/ethnic rule would improve discussions beyond a twelve-year-old discussion level (or... not, as the current GAF is).
Banning "cunt," never should've happened. "It had good intentions," sure... if you're an American. And speaking as an American I understood that the rest of the world (see: Europe/Australia) use it as an insult more than the "C-word"/"F-bomb" holy grail that women in America make it out to be.

finally becoming lax about people disagreeing with him and not going to ban someone for saying "fuck you" to them.
That fat thread seems like such a basic description of GAF culture. Bunch of basement dwellers waiting to jump on a group lower on the totem poll than them, and getting carte blanch from the mods. Being fat often leads to health problems, everyone knows that. But the service industry, especially restaurant service, should know better than to shit on customers publicly; in fact most know better. There's no justifying that receipt even if the chicks were fat. How about some manners...
