I don't think it will get localised this time. Its a shame because 2 was a genuine blast. Drinky needs to step up his game, its not 2005 anymore.

You're assuming all of that. Like you tend to. If it had been a japanese launch game I could see it coming over for US launch. But its farther out than that, and dq numbers aside from the heavily advertised and promoted 9 haven't been lighting the charts up. Again, I don't think it will happen.

I consider any game released in the first year, launch-era and companies tend to bring those over since early adapters want games to play on their shiny new system and there aren't many in the first year.

As for Rocket Slime sales...I dunno, I never heard that it bombed or lit up the charts. Probably just did ok, but nothing special.

That doesn't sound too bad. But Nintendo are cheapskates nowadays so who knows if it'll come over. I'm sure if this was Just Dance: Slime edition or Petz: Slimez, Nintendo would be chomping at the bit to localize for their FUPA-sportin soccer mom crowd.

Rocket Slime was hands down one of the best games on the DS. It was the definite handheld Zelda experience on the system, that's for sure.

The adventuring part gave a 2D Zelda vibe even with its lack of items. Either way it was a great game that caught everyone off guard.

direct feed screenshot makes it look a lot better but i'm still a little pissed they ditched the 2D enviroment and tanks for 3D ones

It's obviously an up-port but I don't care. Slime is one of those games that doesn't really require a higher fidelity/poly-count and I know I'm sounding like a filthy ninthing right about now but whatever whatever I do what I want. Im just glad I'm gonna be playing a DS Slime game without the blurriness and black borders.

That's just the uggo Japanese font prevalent in many games. There will be a hot font when it comes to the States.

I'm sure most 3DS games will end up looking like DS games, with added brain tumor-3D.

DS to 3DS leap in technology is basically the same as Gamecube to Wii. Nintendo just likes to add useless gimmicks, nothing else.
