Samurai Warriors on 3DS has Japanese voice support.  Crazy Koei can't get them on the disc for the console versions.

The downside of playing Wu is that the Huang Gai level.  I hate those types of characters (Xu Zhu is another one)

I loved each and every Wu stage. I beat Wu early this morning and started Jin. My favorite Wu stage is the stage right AFTER Sun Ce takes on Yu Ji. It's this huge battle with multiple conflicts, having to go and save your commanders and backtracking. Really tense.

In fact, a lot of Wu stages have tons of base taking and defending.

Yeah, Meng is in Conquest mode too. Every officer has 2-3 'legendary' battles in that mode which unlock them for play if they aren't available yet.

I liked the Wu characters a lot better ( Gan Ning ) than the Wei.  I'm excited to get to the Jin portion.

The game is still fun and hasn't really stopped being fun for a while.  It is probably my most favorite DW game.  Although not by far, I had a lot of fun with DW5 Special on the 360 when it came out.

Surprised I got the Good Listener trophy because I skipped everyone in the Wei campaign and didn't hear about the good listener trophy until near the end of my wei campaign. After that I talked to everyone (berudgingly) but that doesn't take away from the fact I skipped talking to the bulk of Wei npcs and still got the trophy.
 
I was planning on playing through Wei again, just to get that trophy so this is good.
 
Started Conquest mode, this time for real, my main is going to be Huang Gai for now. I put it on hard mode and it's so much more fun in comparison to normal. Without my buffed up character(s) that have been carried over from story mode I'm sure hard would be annoying, but since my Huang Gai and others are maxed out, hard mode is fun as fuck as it presents a new challenge. I tried chaos and got wrecked in like 4 hits. Wow, you actually need to block in that mode! Haha!

Decided to go with my favorite Three Kingdoms character, Zhou Yu, in Conquest. Zhou Yu's staff + shield and sword combo = great for ridding yourself of these pesky archers.

Finished Jin.  I agree with what someone said earlier: it is the most interesting campaign out of the four.  I even paid attention to the story, which I never really did for the other three.  I also received the good listener achievement despite not really talking to anyone except the guards or officers to start a fight.  O well.

Now I'm working on Conquest mode.  I'll probably start with Zhu Rong so I can start getting some of the characters I wasn't able to play as in the official mode.

I'm playing Conquest mode with Zhu Rong.  When I first started, it gave me a strong DW Strikeforce vibe, which is a bad thing.  However in spite of that, it is pretty fun although I will probably clear a few hexes here and there casually.

They should make a rival schools-ish musou game.  Schoolhouse Musou or something.  You have the baseball guy with a bat, football player who runs over dudes and throws fire hail marys, the gym teacher, the band guy who blows out people's ears, the computer tech guy who rides a giant robot he built.  Just make it super goofy with a varied cast and move set.

The demo was really really shitty for a musou game, but I heard the full game is better.  It's $30 at Amazon now and musou games almost never price drop/collapse, so I'm wondering if I should grab it at this price.

Bebpo, I really enjoyed Hokuto Musou. You can go back and find a shit-ton of impressions from me here and on gaf.  The demo wasn't the best representation of the game...it offers both a straight foward adventure mode (for Ken, Rei, Mamiya, Toki, and Raoh), which is more linear like a traditional beat em up complete with boss battles, and a more traditional Musou mode where all the unlockable characters are playable.  It's worth checking out if you like Fist Of The North Star and musou games.  Just make sure to get it on PS3.

Impressions:

Looks the same and plays the same as ps3 version.

Still awesome.

DLC impressions:

- jp voices are great. a lot of voices that were annoying in English (xu zhu) aren't anymore.
- dlc weapons rock. I really like that scythe/axe thing and the bombs are fucking AWESOME.

Pretty sure you can only play dress up in conquest mode, yeah(and the DLC stages are for conquest so they're obviously only seen there). Dunno about taking the weapons into story mode since I haven't tried that since getting them but I'd imagine you can use 'em.
