Soon before Bush has to give Ford's state funeral good old Bob Woodward comes out with a embargoed interview with President Ford where Ford lays into the Iraq War and trashes the administration. This is funny since Ford himself was a Republican and Rumsfeld and Cheney were his protegee's more or less!

"I just don't think we should go hellfire damnation around the globe freeing people, unless it is directly related to our own national security."

Pretty much.  I've pretty much disassociated myself with the new Republican party and when people ask, I just say "I'm conservative."  I even voted for *shudder*, Kerry, that's how much I hate Bush.
