Apparently it was down because of the heavy number of people playing Halo 3 and CoD4. Hardly worth giving a free game over. Either way, I got a free game anyways when xbl had its anniversary in 2008. Comparing xbl being down due to overloaded servers to people's identities being stolen and not being informed about it is beyond apples and oranges, it might as well be testicles and grape soda because they're completely different and idiotic comparisons.

PSN back online. Updating to 6.31 for the last hour and a half.... Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay, Sony go fucking 3rd party already, much rather play your games on the Direct seXbox.

edit: I'd never used my PC to download the latest firmware, thought I'd try as Scenester needs to update his box too. latest firmware took me 2 minutes to download to my PC, chucked it on an sd, all done. Does it make any sense why it takes longer to download to the PS3? Not to me...
