Yes... I'd like to go to law school, but I still don't have an LSAT score to give to any of the schools. Both times I took the LSAT I was unable to sleep at all the night before the tests. Last time this was especially detrimental since I was unable to drink coffee due to terrible chest pain. Because of my insomnia and anxiety I know history will repeat itself thus I purchased Modafinil, which is a drug used to keep sleep deprived fighter pilots functioning at a high levels.

Anyway let's say law school doesn't work out, what the hell should I do with my pathetic life? Over half of philosophy undergraduate majors get higher degrees. DUH... WTF ARE YOU GOING TO DO WITH A PHILOSOPHY DEGREE?

I started out getting a political science degree for some insane reason. I have no idea why, I guess liking politics yet wanting nothing to do with public service was good enough. I wised up going into my soph. year this fall and switched to business. I'll probably be taking some summer courses and might graduate a semester late or so but at least I won't be stuck with a useless degree. I might go for my masters right after I think.

Most people dont get jobs in the field their degree is in. The LEVEL of the degree matters more. Like 2 year, 4 year, all that jazz.

For example my TWO 2-Year degrees are a '4-year equivalent'. That along with my years of steady and successful work experience, as well as all the stuff ive done on the side, gave me and edge.

People still in college tend to use the field they are in as some sorta bragging rights, but unless you wanna teach in the same field...

Of course, I'm a history major, and I don't think I'm "that" better off to be honest. I wanna be a professor, though so at least I know there's something for me. Really, I don't know what else you can do with that degree other than teaching.

It's not applicable in terms of "Oh, I have a business degree, I'll go into business". But a lot of places see a Philosophy degree as a mark of sophistication or, at least, preparedness for advanced materials. Law schools, in particular, love Philosophy degrees.

Math's fun dude. Unless you get the prof with a really REALLY thick accent, which seemed to happen a lot. Everyone's too nice, and won't ask him to repeat that. Plus there's the maths center where a lot of math nerds hang and will help you out.

Plus the maths center nerds always fight the accounting center nerds with knives and boards with nails in them.
