I finished Valkyria Chronicles last night and I'm catching up on PS3 games. Which of these shall I tarnish my body with first?

All great games, prob start off with Uncharted, and I'm still playing my copy of DS on and off so....

All great games, my personal take though is:

Demon Souls > Infamous > Uncharted 2

If you're pressed for time:

Uncharted 2 > Infamous > Demon Souls

Yakuza 3 or 4 for manly men smashing each others faces in
Wipeout HD for the best racing game this gen
Demon's Souls for the best game this gen
Uncharted if you're in the mood for a movie

shit I forgot about the Yakuza games. I completed the first 2 and loved 'em. Better get onto the PS3 games asap

To expand upon Uncharted 2. It has a great single player one of the best third person shooters this generation, lots of game variety, multiple unlockables that'll keep you busy for weeks, and a great multiplayer mode (about as good as CoD if ps3 weren't a fail system, there's only ever like 4-5k people on whenever I play Uncharted 2 online it's stupid).

went to play Uncharted 2 and now have software updating for the past 20 minutes and counting.

infamous may be my favorite PS3 game, but I wouldn't recommend it because:

a) it will be free on PSN soon(er or later) and I'm assuming he hasn't bought these games yet
b) inFamous 2 is out in under a month

as good as infamous was, it was almost entirely because of the incredible mechanics. The game doesn't really have memorable set pieces or sequences you had to play. Watching the cutscenes on youtube and starting with Infamous 2 is probably the better choice. Improved mechanics, better city, much better visuals, etc. Again, it's like Zone of the Enders 1 to Zone of the Enders 2 level of jump, and there is a reason no on talks about ZoE1 after ZoE2 came out (or before...but I like ZoE1 a lot too; didn't even buy it for the MGS2 demo!)

Plus with the user generated content, people will probably remake infamous 1 in it, which is mostly possible.

Both Uncharted 2 and Demon's Souls are getting sequels this year too, but those games are packed with memorable stuff. Neither Uncharted 3 or Dark Race will make the prequels less relevant.

I voted Demons Souls. I'm planting seeds so Sceneman will feel accustomed to the tre pad and buy Dark Race for it. He will defect from the Xbros.

hey dont you guys worry, quietID owns al these games and I'm just playing them. No money is being spent.

anyhow I played through the first couple of hours of Uncharted 2. I cant remember anything except for the haircuts and sweet ass graphics. Seems like a good game alright, but the gameplay is on par with or inferior to Tomb Raider Underworld, which strangely is a very underrated game

finished Uncharted 2. Was pretty good, the ice caves and the giant temple thing with the cogs was definitely the highlight of the game.

Playing inFamous now. Yep, its a sandbox game.

I got up to the 3rd island in inFamous. Man does the game get way darker and more intense. Love it

inFamous 1 was a fantastic game. I'm glad you're playing through it even though it only has 2 votes in the poll. I'm playing through inFamous 2 right now and really enjoying it.

I'll play Demon's Souls at some point too.

Then it's just the RGG games and I'll be done with PS3 until Uncharted 3 comes out

You gotta play through Wipeout HD too. By force if necessary. I dunno if Fury is so necessary, might be coz I haven't put too much time into it but apart from Eliminator I'm not that hot on the Fury modes
