I really enjoyed it, even though January Jones was totally lifeless and a disgrace to Emma Frost.

Nope.

January Jones isn't really an actor, she's just a model they let play dress up and read lines.

The Red dude was not Nightcrawler, though.  Azazel is actual Hellfire Club member in the comics.

He must be a recently-created character, 'cuz I sure as hell didn't recognize him.  The "Hellfire Club" was barely recognizable in this movie anyway, though.  Too bad we couldn't get the original Inner Circle.

From 2003 apparently and he's actually Nightcrawler's dad

I saw this yesterday at a dollar theater. Full disclosure, I'm not much of a fan of comic book movies.

That being said I thought this was the best of these X-men movies I've seen. Not the best special effects or fights scenes but the best as an actual movie with properly explained motivations and characters actually properly characterized instead of relying on nerd comic book knowledge. I never really understood the high praise thrown at those singer movies. I thought they were average. I legit thought this was a better movie. And probably the only one I could actually rewatch.

I watched this again on blu-ray, and maybe it's because I get really nerdy when I'm in the privacy of my room, but the CG is really bad.  Like, January Jones bad.

Movie is still awesome

My mom had been telling me to watch this for months. I tend to avoid action flicks she likes considering she likes just about anything with either monsters, aliens, or super heroes (including Van Helsing). But I gotta say, this movie was pretty damn good. I expected some dumb summer flick but it was actually not nearly as ridiculous as the trailers suggested.
