Nintendo got hacked by lulzsec.

One of Nintendo's servers was recently compromised in a hacking attempt, said Nintendo yesterday. However, customer personal information was not accessed. "The server contained no consumer information. The protection of our customer information is our utmost priority," said the company in a statement to Reuters.
LulzSec, the same hacking group that claimed responsibility for Sony's recent troubles, confirmed that they were responsible for the attack. However, they claim that the only reason they didn't access sensitive information was that they like the company. "We love Nintendo and Sega, if anything we'd hack *for* them. If you're listening Nintendo/Sega, you, you uh... you want Sony hacked more?" They went on to list other things they wouldn't attack maliciously, "Things we would never harm: Sega, Nintendo, Neopets, Old Spice Guy, anyone that owns a boat for the sole purpose of being a pirate."

While the timing of the attack just before E3 is probably not a coincidence, the server infiltration is just one of a number of high profile attacks by LulzSec in recent weeks. On top of their dealings with Sony and Nintendo, they recently announced that they gained access to information at InfraGard, a non-profit organization with strong ties to the FBI.

I dont think Nintendo has any private information, only things they have is stored on the Wii itself?
