Looks like Far Cry 2 but with more green.  Which is cool I guess but I'm a little over the gameplay.

Far Cry 2 was a game I thought had a lot of interesting ideas in it but was not very fun to actually play. Hopefully they get the right mix this time.

I hope this game does well. Far Cry 2 had a fucking sweet level editor, but it just had no community. Mostly because the multiplayer was super jank. The  level editor is back, right?

Did you find the shooting poor? I thought FC2 was a cool game but I always found the gunplay pretty weak and there were numerous other issues, but on the whole that game was on point for so many good things it didn't matter to me.

The gun play was generally poor and the checkpoints that got repopulated and the structure I found a bit confusing and odd. There were lots of things like that, that stopped me but it did have a lot of neat ideas in it. I agree there was a lot good there including the whole open world aspect

The infinite respawns of fuckers in jeeps was the most annoying thing in the game for me. I hope they make it so the game world is at least perceived by the player to be a little more persistent to the world in FC2. The companion stuff was neat, and worked toward that end nicely but I want to see them go further somehow.

I wonder if you can still burn shit?  I loved sitting on a hill and hurling flares into a camp.

Really excited about this one, the writing and the gameplay are working together.
