no. based on what they're showing in this video it seems linear and scripted. you either do stealth assaults on brain-dead AI guards standing around looking the other way, or you are engaged in head-to-head firefights along a given path, probably on the heels of a friendly AI ala COD. There is a part around 5:00 where you see a satellite feed showing positions, but it's not interactive, you can't position men or give orders - everything that still remains from early GR exists only in its most superficial and vapid form in this game. The buttmuncher who was talking about this also name-dropped Red Storm only to launch into a schpiel about how ubisoft shanghai was carrying on their legacy with some free-to-play mmo nonsense. I took offense like a hardware fantard.
Ignoring that this is the raped shell of Ghost Recon, I do enjoy the HUD which they've been using and improving since the first 360 title. There is also what appears to be some civilian crowd control in the gameplay, which might be scripted, but could be interesting if it isn't.
