Now Wiitards will truly see why no one makes core games for their baby. Sales figures will be very interesting to see. I bet PS3 version outsells version easily.

The Call of Duty games are good for 500k on the wii. Even the 2 year late MW1 port achieved that.

And for the record, the multiplayer is surprisingly compentent for Wii CoDs, its just that the single player is borderline unplayable due to system constraints.

Apparently they do since Activision keeps making CoD Wii games. If it makes you feel better, Its always in the neighborhood of half a mil, which is a far cry from the hd sales.

Oh dear, the children are embarrassing themselves again.

1. A small, small, tiny subset of Treyarch works on the wii conversions. The majority of them are working on -get this!- ~something else(COD)~.

2. The Wii conversions are tailor suited regarding interface, controls and network stuff. None of this would transfer over to a psp (lol selling software outside of nippon lol) or.... did that other guy say phone? Just a capacitive touchscreen for aiming shooting moving reloading c4detonating killstreakactivating crouching proning sprinting knifing jumping everloving etc? Oh you trolls.

Well it must be really demotivating to work on the Wii version if you made the best selling game of the gen man. Insulting even.

And the engine would be fine for PSP/phone, just add different controls.

Once again the group that handles the wii ports are in the somethingteens, nothing for Treyarch as a whole to be disgruntled about.

The CoD controls just only manage to work on the nunchuck setup. I fail to see how they could accomplish walking/strafing/sprinting/crouching/proning/reloading/melee/killstreaks/equipmentswitch/grenade/specialgrenade/scoreboard/weaponswitch/weaponpickup/PAAAAAUUUUSSSSEEE/shooting/aiming/ads and jumping on a capacitive touchscreen. I'm sure Kotick and crew wouldve done it if it was feasible. PSP has no effective market prescence outside of japan, no surprise at it being ignored.

The ds versions are incredibly long crawls to those numbers. It seems to suggest impulse purchases over a long period of time taking advantage of the install base.
