I always liked these threads when MAF was here, now that he's back posting, I thought we should resurrect these.

Friday: Vegging out. Too much work this week, so skipping anything social tonight.
Saturday: Errands. Bike ride. Probably drinking with friends at night.
Sunday: Family brunch, church, TV--Mad Men; The Wire; Gaming--Donkey Kong Returns, Secret of Mana

Today: Played the vidjas, bowled a few games, went CD hunting, hanging with friends, cappin it off with more vidjas.

Saturday: hanging out with friends most of the day, finishing a book, watching an mst3k

Sunday: Dem Vidjas, laundry, going to a BBQ at friends place, then prolly reading until bed.

last night: watched Paul. lol'd went to bed at 9:30
today: going to run as the weather is finally nice enough again, then we're going to make our way to the Monster Island Farewell Blockparty. A DIY space is closing down and they're going out with a bit of a bang.
tomorrow: *shrug* I want to watch the Ravens game, but I don't want to deal with 9/11 bullshit.

Worked all friday. Drunk a lot after work and watched the first game of the RWC, had been drinking all afternoon at work and then finished a bottle of whisky.... Got asked to leave nicely from the first bar I went to for the game

Too drunk

so I left, went to some bands got more drunk, went dancing, then went home.

Worked all Saturday in a kitchen prepping food for Wetas Hobbit crew among other functions. Ended up bein an 11 hr day, can't remember being that hungover since forever.

Sunday I'm gonna hit the farmers market and go to my mums for her birthday. And hopefully play some Xenoblade somewhere in there

Went to the farmer's market, ran into an old friend who works there, he charged me $3 for at least 6lbs of fruit and veggies.

Got some locally roasted coffee beans, and met a guy from Wisconsin selling all sorts of cheese. Got two bags of cheese curds - mixed white and regular cheddar in one bag, and garlic and chive seasoned in the other. Haven't tried them yet, but hopefully they're still fresh and squeaky!!

The coffee is pretty amazing though.

Friends are coming out now, so I'm probably going to cook something yummy with all the fresh garlic and veggies I bought today.

Friend came over Friday, we played Dreamcast to celebrate 9/9. Crazy Taxi, Power Stone 2, Soul Calibur (this game still looks great), Jet Grind Radio. Was amazing.

Saturday I went on a date (girl was much bigger than her pictures

), then hung out at the park for my friend's bachelor party - drinking, playing volleyball, beanbag toss, baseball... later at night we all went to the local pub and I got a phone #

Sunday I read, played Radiant Historia, and looked at some bathroom tile at the store

Sat/Sun is the Kishiwada Danjiri Matsuri; Reno/NegativeReno from NeoGAF is coming down and we will share a beer... and a frankfurter.

Lord help me know get into fisticuffs with the local male population, whose sense of entitlement goes through the roof for these two days.

Monday is a national holiday; we were scheduled to work through it, but we ended up getting it and the 23rd off, so next week will be a three-day workweek bookended by three-day weekends.

Today: Will probably just go home after work and veg out. They're having a tournament for Mortal Kombat at work, but I don't feel like taking a late train home for that nonsense. My wife and I started watching Thor last weekend but never finished it, so maybe that and also some Gears 3.

Saturday: Going to a party at 6PM. No other plans though; had a busy weekend last week, so I don't really care if we don't do anything else.

Sunday: My parents have been out of town for the past week...gonna have to pick them up from the train station when they get back, then dinner out somewhere.

We've also been taking care of my parents' cat all week. Kinda ridiculous since my uncle has been staying at their house, doing paintwork, so he could have done this. But we live right around the corner from my parents, so it's no big deal. We have to feed the cat and give her meds twice a day, and my parents want us to hang around a bit to give the cat some company. She hates my uncle though, and has been hiding the entire week.

Three day weekend. Had a pretty good karate lesson tonight, but I thought the joint locks were going to prevent me from using my hands for anything for a week. Turns out, I can even type again a couple hours later.

Friday was pretty great, because: beer. Well, beer and a good friend at a bar. With beer.

Tomorrow I'm taking the kids out to a park, a farmers' market, and then karaoke. My kids have been pestering me to run some more pencil-and-paper RPG stuff for them, so I may also do that. W00T! GEEK KIDS.
