I'll be playing games tonight. Probably try and finish my Civ V game. I'm around turn 600 and in between turns I'll play a round of BLOPS. It is taking 5 to 10 minutes between each turn this late into a game. $:-\$

I actually played Strife a little bit last year during a stint of DOSBox-fueled retro gaming, had a disc version that I picked up from...somewhere. I honestly don't remember. Anyway, it was definitely ahead of its time, with a large, open world, quests, and the like in a first-person setting. Cool stuff, too bad Rogue never really did much outside of those two games.

the animu guys in me thought it was pretty cool but i remember the game being incredibly buggy like the enemies wouldn't actualy attack you if you didn't shoot first so it was able to get past them without problem

NOLF2 is one of the best FPS games ever--no hyperbole

reason the NOLF games aren't on GoG or any download service is some licensing limbo. every old PC game should be on gog. I bought Shogo during the last sale to replay it and I might do that tonight

Yeah, that and homeworld...ground control is though so its probably not due to the sierra vivendi switch...then again homeworld was relic so maybe it's a developer issue but wait isn't Shogo on gog.com *head explodes*
