I believe so yes, to those who don't play it. I have met a *few* cool people who play this, but the majority are super nerds.

I've played two of the Yugioh games on handhelds and ive had a lot of fun with them. They're really no different from any card battle game that isnt related to some shitty anime or crappy generic fantasy.

I've never done the physical cards tho. Scenster: isnt there some magic the gathering games for consoles? you could play those lol.

Yep, they dont call it 'cardboard crack' for nothing. I kind of stop playing for a year or so then get back into it again. Been doing that for the last 12 years.

I used to play in elementary until my Dad got remarried and my step mom thought they were evil so she made me burn them (along with my All4One cd and treasure trolls).

When did you play Demi? Older cards are worth a total packet these days. A playset of Hypnotic Specters is worth like 100 bucks or so.

Im not a competitve player either, its way better to just fuck around with zany decks.

I used to play the cardboard game with some friends of mine, just using decks they assembled for me. But I got really, REALLY into playing that shit online a few years ago. I mean, REALLY into it. Coming home at lunch to play tournaments, shit like that.

Haven't played since then, really.

I used to play in high school. It's probably the nerdiest thing I've ever been interested in. For the past few summers myself and a couple of friends would buy a few boosters from the new sets and play for a bit, then drop it completely. I bought some Coldsnap boosters and singles shortly after it came out. I've always loved fantasy art, and the recent sets are loaded with cards featuring excellent artwork. I just like lookin' at 'em sometimes.

Becuase I already had a lot of physical cards before the online version came out. And online cards are the same price as real ones, its nicer  to have actual cardboard IMO.

yeah but you also have less people to play with. I think you get your money's worth from online cards because of this and all the tournaments you can enter and drafts, leagues etc.

That is true. And with real life opponents you have to deal with some uber nerds face to face
