My office is in one of the biggest commercial areas of the city and I work in the afternoon :'( gonna leave the house like half an hour earlier than usual.

Was definitely very nice taking the train to work today...no students and far less people on the train overall. 

No vacation time for me though...I did that last month.  The next two Mondays off in a row is good enough for me anyway, plus I'll probably get to go home early on Friday.

Man, fuck you guys.  :( Today was a shitty commute.

It started raining halfway through the day, and no one here knows wtf to do in the rain, so that was a 20 minute drive bumped up to an hour.

On my way to work, a dump truck in front of me lost two tires, including the axel. Two huge fucking tires bouncing 6 god damn feet in the air, going 60 mph, stopping 5 lanes of confused motherfuckers. Finally they hit the median and ran parallel to it for another mile or so, slowing down and calming down enough where people could actually pass without worrying if they were going to bounce back into their damn lane.  :maf

Don't even get me started on my drive on my lunch break. My work is near one of the most popular malls in the god damn metro area.

"Commute"? Oh, yeah, that part where I don't have a job...  :'(

Srsly though, my commute consisted of a 10 minute walk to the train station, a 15 minute train ride to the work station, and then 3 minutes INCLUDING THE ELEVATOR to get into the office. I've had the 2nd best commute in the world* for 10 years, I'll miss it when I'm back in Silicon Valley or L.A.
