I got cash for christmas, and a change jar that counts for you.  Better than last year, I suppose, where I got kitchenware yet don't have a kitchen.

I didn't want anything; I just got an iPad 2 with my birthday money, so I'm good.

Instead, I got to see both my kids still believing in Santa Claus, and enjoying that they got the stuff they asked for. Pretty great.

Also had the sister-in-law from Tokyo staying over from the 27th through Jan. 2nd, so I took my wife out for a birthday date on the 28th. Time alone with the wife: priceless.

You know what I got for Christmas? Oh, it was a banner fucking year at the old AWESOM-O family. I got a carton of cigarettes.
