Johnny Mneumonic really is hilariously bad, but still enjoyable in that mid-90's scifi way [like Demolition Man and Judge Dredd].

The best of that brief era is probably Strange Days, though.

I marathoned through most of Stallone's big action flicks recently and I thought this was one of the ones that held up the least.

Along with the unbelievably terrible casting, the obnoxious attempts at humor sprinkled throughout is what kills it, really (and not in an endearing sort of way), and the action just isn't nearly good enough to make it worthwhile. By the end, my face hurts from all the involuntary brow furrowing from listening to Denis Leary or Rob Schneider speak.

C-tier Stallone, as far as that goes. I'd almost rather watch Tango & Cash (almost).
