Seriously though - add up everything you SPENT, not everything you think you SAVED (purely notional o/c). Then look at how many you played to a satisfying degree, as you might have done if it was the only game you bought that month and spent $60 on it.
I mean, I like buying games, i like having the option to play them...but overspending on shit you will never play is endemic to Steam, there is no denying it. Everyone, rich or poor, does it and regrets it. If I buy a console with DD built-in, i have exactly the same massive digital library of games available to me at all times. But I'm much less likely to buy shit I won't play.
You can certainly argue that Steam is still the better option but don't get all shouty about it please, because it is a nebulous advantage at best
