Same guts, though, just a bigger screen.  I loved the form factor of the V8P, but the tiny text was putting a big strain on my eyes (I already have to wear reading glasses nowadays). I guess anything with a screen below 10" is sort of out of my consideration from now on

I'm used to wearing glasses (have been since about 2nd grade) so that's not an issue for me. I love the form factor of the smaller tablets... my N7 is my favorite thing ever. I'm sure I'll end up getting something like a Venue later this year after everything settles down.

Now that it's basically confirmed that the PS4 version of MGS will outsell the X1 version by at least 3:1 ratio, we have another resolution debacle on our hands...

Thief is also rumored to be sub 1080p on the X1. This will definitely cost MS a lot of sales.

Would be an argument if PC gaming were relevant. But since that's not the case, yeah, people will buy the console version with the better graphics. Happened last gen as well. PC version will always look better. But who the hell cares for that? PC gamers only buy $2 games during a steam sale anyway.

All video game companies & retailers have done over the past 10 years is promote pre-orders to the point where everything is so ridiculously front loaded, so of course it sounds more imrpessive after a short period of time. But it also means you run out of sweaty fanboys sooner and then you have to rely on selling to a group of consumers who left the industry years ago and probably can't tell the difference between 480 and 1080p. And if they can they don't are because your 5 hour game costs $60.
