Niemi killed me last night. Blues definitely were playing better in the majority of the first OT, defense just gave up by 2OT. I am surprised they stayed in the game as long as they did though, usually we lose it much earlier.

Also, the crowd at Scottrade sounded great, wish I could make it to more games.

All teams that win consistently are going to get some hate, but hockey fans seem to respect the Wings.

The most hated teams:

Leafs hate isn't really Leafs hate, it's just Toronto hate by proxy.

And ya, not a lot of Red Wings hate, really. I don't think there's any NHL team that gets hate comparable to the Yankees or Patriots. But maybe that's more of a function of the parity seen in the league since the lockout than anything else.
