Line of the movie: "puny god" :bow2

Got a huge nerd boner from the after credits scene :hyper

Which one? Tell me you didn't leave after the first.

Is this some comic book nerd urban legend you're trying to get going on the internet? Because I haven't seen anyone else talking about it.

edit: Nevermind, I see that you're not that clever.

Rumor is that Sony HATES the new Spider-Man, which is why they hired the TRANSFORMERS writers to fuck up the sequel.

Sony has a semi legit case of hating the Spider Man franchise with the stunts Marvel pulled on them with Amazing Spiderman

It's hard to say if a marvel spider-man movie would be any better.

I think Amazing Spider-Man is looking pretty good.  There's a lot of awkwardness in the trailers but the parts with spider-man doing acrobatics, swinging around, or being a dick to criminals looks great.  News that Sony brought in writers of highly successful pap doesn't mean anything since I doubt quality is their main concern.

also, Iron Man 3 is sounding pretty awesome.

Chow is an awesome fight choreographer, a bit like Chan and Lee. Which sounds more racist than it should be, considering the way the Asians have adopted single syllable US sounding names for their offspring. They're basically not racist.

I wouldn't say that.  With the proper adult being there and if the kid already has a good mentality, I don't think it would be bad for (some) children.  My kid wants to watch it, so I'll probably take him sometime soon.  I watched it last night and didn't have a problem with it at all.

TMNT II was another movie I knew was bad in the theater. I never saw TMNT III, I had grown out of the turtles by the time it came out.

I think Alien 3 was my first massive film disappointment while walking out of the theater.

My parents also took me to see Total Recall when I was 5. It's probably my favorite movie for nostalgic reasons, but the scene with Arnold's eyes bugging out gave me nightmares for weeks.

I enjoyed The Avengers, and I liked when The Hulk beat people up.

well, in the late 80's/early 90's liking kiddy shit on top of adult shit was pretty fucking standard. We are a generation of boys brought up on cuddly Teddy Ruxbin stuff but not to mention violent GI Joe-esque Predator and Terminator stuff.

At school, we'd go from "playing" Bill and Ted to Ninja Turtles, to how rad Robocop was, how much we hated ACHY BREAKY HEART, then we'd play with Care Bears, break out the donated He-Man toys Toy Story 3 style,  to "playing" Back to the Future and then Conan The Barbarian.
