And, fwiw, the region-lock on 360 has been OPTIONAL since the beginning of time. The "Asia Version" (not Japanese, but presumably mainland Asia) are commonly unlocked. Ironically, IIRC the Japanese versions are "Asia Region" which is a specific region, which is counterintuitive to the Asia Versions being unlocked. And then EA releases most of its Asia Versions locked to the Asia Region, messing up any clean definitions.

Working in Japan everyone just assumed it was impossible to region lock a game for PS3 but would always make sure we locked the 360 version. Now that it's out in the open that you CAN do it, expect more of the same.

If 2nd Super Robot Wars OG gets region-locked, I'm going to kill someone.

I have no interest in this weabo fighter, and even if I did, I live in Canada so this doesn't affect me at all. But this shit is terrible. Sony should've just told them no. You don't break 6 years of region free gaming so that some Index execs can sleep tight knowing their Japanese slaves won't be importing horrible baka gaijin copies.
