No question Auburn sucked this year, but it's pretty crazy that a coach can win a NC then get sacked within two years.

Even in the NFL a Super Bowl buys you more time.

You don't have to deal with entitled, asshole alumni in the NFL. Hell, Michigan fans are calling for Hoke to be fired after that debacle at OSU on Saturday. Rivalries matter

I think Michigan fans are probably in for a rude awakening overall in terms of the future of the Big Ten. OSU isn't going anywhere, despite the sanctions; if it wasn't for sanctions they'd probably be the #2 team in the country; Nebraska will get better once Martinez is gone; Wisconsin is clearly still a force. Iowa is also heading in the right direction, and MSU should be better next year. The days of Michigan waltzing to the Big Ten championship are long gone.

Eh, Bama definitely is as good as they have been in the past. I thought they would have rolled LSU, Texas A&M, and UGA, but that didn't come close to happening.

I've been a MAC fan for 20 some years now and it's so bittersweet to see one of their teams actually breakthrough and get a big bowl game. NIU is a solid team, but not one of the all-time great teams the league has seen. They don't really deserve it, but I am still excited anyways.

Sounds like it; he's meeting NFL teams tomorrow, with the Bills allegedly in hot pursuit. Also during the game the announcers noted that the top candidate to replace Kelly is the current offensive coordinator

Honestly, the Alabama that played this year could lose to Oregon. If Johnny Football can do it, so can Mariota (the Manziel of the Pac-12 IMO).

Any predictions for tonight? I think it will be a close game at half and then Alabama will put a whopping on them in the second half. 34-13

I can't believe ND is getting 10 points as the favorite. I don't think it will be close. Alabama's defense is going to be straight beast mode and if muricans haven't heard yet, TJ Yeldon will be a household name after tonight.

27-16 Bama. I think the score will be deceptive; ND's defense will prevent Alabama from going completely crazy but the Tide will shut them down in the second half (and dominate the clock).

Probably a smart idea. Oregon seems to be the place to go in the NW. He could put that program on autopilot for the next 10 years and rack up a huge amount of wins and legacy.

Aside from that, the Browns have to compete in a division that has two of the more competent managements in the NFL (Baltimore and Pittsburgh) and they can not attract Free Agents of any kind.

title game was boring shit salad

would have preferred and Oregon/Bama game -- could be 50/50 either way especially with how Alabama played against LSU and A&M, and since Oregon runs the same offense as A&M, well... it would have been a very exciting game either way. Oregon D could hold Alabama, I think.

and since Mariota is stupid hot and SINGLE, we wouldn't get multiple boring cam shots of his gf/wife.
