Asura's Wrath - $20 at amazon
Street Fighter v Tekken - $20 at amazon
DMC Collection - $20 at amazon

Would get all 3 on PS3 until there's something wrong with PS3 versions.  Oh wait, SxT is on PC, I should probably just grab that in a steam sale and TV-out it.  Do PS3 controllers work on PC games these days?  Not gonna use a X360 controller for a fighter and too lazy to hook up my sticks since I'm not that hardcore fighting game guy outside VF anymore

Hey, does Street Fighter x Tekken on PC come with the DLC characters like the Vita version?

Yes, ps3 controllers work on ps3.

Any program you recommend for using them on PC?

Not my kind of game.  I loved the high speed fluid ps2 shinobi games, but never really cared for the stiff Ninja Gaiden like sidescrollers.

Asura's Wrath is pretty fantastic. I mean just look at it. The art design is pretty much top class. Just great character, world deisng, whatever you name it when it comes to art the game has it done well. Even the illustrations you see in the game are very cool. There's some tecnical issues that hurt it's cinematic presentation, but they suck only because what you're seeing is so cool you want it to be as great as possible.

The music is even great and well placed in the game. There's one track that plays for a character then you will know very well because how badass it makes every scene it's in.

The anime tv structure is also just kind of adds to the fun.

And you know what? The story in Asura's Wrath is actually pretty damn good. I would say probably one of the best stories this gen, it's almost a shame it won't get it's due. I mean yeah it's a genre piece, but it knows that and it executes it's genre well. It's pretty well written with characters actually having personality and some even being more then "I'm just good" and I'm just bad". It is what it is and it does it's thing very well. The thing is you will need to get the real ending DLC, but it's worth it.

The game part is well, you know what it is. QTEs and basic third person melee combat. It doesn't offend, but it's nothing special. But the sheer package of this game is really entertaining for those who have a love of Japanese games and stuff like Fist of the North Star.

As for Street X Tekken. I think the game looks pretty good and is pretty fun. I'm no expert here, but I mean if you like SF4, don't see why you would hate SxT.

Street Fighter X Tekken- Get this on a console.  The PC version is behind in terms of updates/patches and does not even have the DLC characters for sale yet AFAIK.  Only the Vita version of the game has all the characters.  If you buy the Vita version, it will come with a code to unlock all the DLC characters on PS3 and the Vita version will support cross-play, so for $60 you'd get the game on two platforms with all the characters.  The PS3 version also offers 2P co-op online on the same console...PC and 360 do not.

Regardless, for $20 just keep in mind that you're really going to have to spend another $20 if you want all the playable characters, plus more if you care about additional outfits and gems.

I haven't played the game online in a little bit but a lot of people dropped it after release and even more ditched it when TTT2 hit.  I am still looking very forward to the Vita version though.  I think it will be the best one with the additional features,  no bullshit-DLC characters and online play across two different platforms.

SFxTK was pretty much a bomb (dunno about sales, talking about players' reactions to it) but I still ended up enjoying it a lot.  I think the DLC stuff and the gems (which got massively nerfed in the last update, making it GOOD) just killed it.

Ended up getting Ashura's Wrath and putting SFxT in my steam wishlist for next sale.  Lyte, I'll never play online 2p coop regardless (I doubt I'll ever go online with it), and at least I can pick up the DLC characters at 50% off in some future steam sale.

Why bother buying it at all then?  You make it sound like you'd play it once or twice and never again.  There's not a strong single-player component in the game.

I want to beat AI people up with tag-team SF & Tekken characters.  I heard the game was a lot of fun for doing that.  Plus I'll play offline 2p versus here and there like I do with all my fighting games.  Seems like a good casual party fighter.

Get the Sony Smash Bros. game when it comes out- sounds like it's what you're looking for.

You'd be surprised at how many people buy, play and enjoy seriouz fightaz without ever going online.  You know, an entire generation of gamers did it for the last 2-3 generations, no problem.

Street Fighter vs. Tekken was by far my worst purchase of the year and I got it at full price too  :-\ .  At least I can use the PS3 fight pad on my PC.

If I wasn't planning on spending time learning the game play and playing lots of multiplayer, I wouldn't bother buying Street Fighter X Tekken.  It's not worth it, even for twenty bucks.  It's not going to be the kind of easy to pick up and play "party fighter" like some other games can be, and if you want to enable the easy mode for special moves, you're gonna have to set that gem for every single character first.

Also Asura's Wrath and DMC HD Collection (360- The PS3 DMC has a $9 shipping fee) are cheaper at New Egg.

Considering DMC but I just don't think I'd ever bothering play it.  I played through the original when it came out and always wanted to play through DMC3 but never did.

From what I understand, some(?) of the DLC is pretty much required for Asura's Wrath to get the full experience/ending.

Asura's Wrath is awesome even without the DLC. I think I'm going to buy it just to get the chance to play the DLC though

The only DLC you really need is Nirvana (true ending). Everything else is totally skippable.
