Yo, so I found the game in a store here that opens in 3 hours. So might as well make a thread about it since I'll be playing it tonight.

So yay Resident Evil guys, play it and stuff.

I think the 360 version gets some specific modes of play (via "DLC") that will be excusive for a period of time.

I'm getting this on 360 regardless.

Is it co-op the whole way through? I thought they did some weird change where it's only co-op on some levels (which is stupid).

Ada has a co-op mode too, but I don't know if it's one of the "DLC" modes- apparently the second player is some generic Hunk-lookalike who doesn't speak.

Also I saw some story spoilers for Ada's game ending. It sounds pretty stupid.

The main villain ends up a guy who created a clone of Ada Wong, created by injecting Ada's DNA and a C-virus into another bad guy's girlfriend. Ada's mission was to help the others and kill the clone.

I have never seen such a popular game being fed to wolves like this before. It's probably a greater spectacle than what the game itself has to offer. Even Final Fantasy XIII didn't get some of the scores this is getting.

I don't get this- Resident Evil hasn't been "survival horror" in almost eight years. Hell, only the first game had some scary moments and that was it.

To be fair, it's not just giant bomb. I don't think I've seen a reviewer with any skill whatsoever on any of these popular sites/magazines. (I'm not saying RE6 is really hard or complex or anything, just pointing that out)

Wii version already beat out RE4 GC, and I'm sure RE4HD is even better, which I will be getting instead of this.
