The Wii version actually did really well! It was the PS3 and Xbox360 versions that were at fault!

Pretty sure they're pushed back to Q1 fiscal 2014, which is mid 2013. At least that should be the case for South Park

Obsidian curse continues.  Dungeon Siege III is still their only game to date that didn't encounter problems.  New Vegas kiiiinda as well, though having to use Bethesda's craptacular engine is a curse in itself.

Neither was KoTOR2 or Alpha Protocol.

That's the Obsidian curse.

Technically speaking, it was whomever in Marketing decided that the PS3/360 marketplace was sufficiently similar to Wii and authorized/requested this version of the product.

And take on a 100 million+ debt?  lol, no thanks!

Let's pool together to buy Violition instead.  Maybe we can pick up the Red Faction license too for a few bucks.  Make a real RFG sequel.

so with no releases whatsoever, that Q1 financial report should look even more dismal than this one.

I hope Volition and Relic don't go down with this sinking ship.

I only care about Relic. The rest could disappear and I wouldn't even notice it.

i guess it's good that South Park is such a huge name and will get picked up elsewhere (unlike Devil's Third.)  because this company is fudged in the rear.

At this point I wish THQ would just go under quickly and get bought for its assets.

Do they still hold the rights to homeworld? if so someone needs to get a kickstarter going to buy that shit from them and get it into the hands of some of the old relic guys.

THQ has some really good dev's on their side, it would be a shame if anything happened to Vigil, Voilition, and Relic.

...THQ has assets?  GTFO.

Oh look, an Obsidian game not hitting it's launch date.

Amazon needs to get in on some of this. They're looking to get into the game bidness, here are some wrapped up and almost ready to go. South Park and CoH, brought to you by Amazon Games in 2013.

And then they can sell CoH 2, South Park, and Saint's Row 4 in a bundle for $10. Amazon Tony, get on this!

I always thought Obsidian games are forced out the door by the publisher, and that's why they are so buggy.

The only other Obsidian game to get delayed from a set release date was Alpha Protocol, and I suspect this delay has more to do with THQ than Obsidian.

And despite all its issues- Alpha Protocol is a better game than most. Same with new vegas.
