Loaded into a 3v3 and got promptly stomped.
The cold mechanic is gonna take time to get used to. I haven't gotten a handle on what exactly makes you cold vs. what doesn't. It seemed that open areas (snow fields, ice lakes, etc) make you cold and places with.. stuff (fences, bushes, trees, etc) don't. If your dudes get too cold they freeze. Then die. Also blizzards start randomly.
