Volume 2 tells a better story I think. The burial, the trailer fight, training with Pai Mei, final confrontation with Bill. Has better action I think, too, because it's mostly environmental (trailer park fight) or has story repercussions (Bill fight, trying to get the jump on Bud). for that reason, the fighting in 2 is more impactful, whereas the fights in 1 like the teahouse fight are 30 minute long fights without a drop of tension.
