Unfortunately this is going to be a bit more of a garbage dump than recently, as I went back through a few months worth to wrangle up the one or two keys left in like ten bundles or something. Also going to be some really unknown junk because one bundle came with two keys of everything. (Well, technically, a key that included all the games, and then individual keys for each of the games.)

I don't know if that Rescue code means it can't be activated outside the US or if there's just a content difference between the US version and other versions.

Nuclear Dawn had me so hyped back in the day in case anyone is curious about that one...closest thing I came to an FPS Star Wars Battlefront in terms of capturing command points
Too bad it died out relatively quickly but I'm pretty sure you can use bots

It sometimes has playable servers, it has a fanbase in the UK still I think.

What's weird is the developers are still updating it regularly.

I really liked it quite a bit too. But early on it did have some performance issues, especially connection wise (what doesn't?) and so its free weekend bombed. I got back into it one weekend randomly a bit before it really slowed down and the battles could be really awesome on full servers and people playing the roles.

Could be a rights issue, since Heart of the Alien was developed by Interplay and published by Virgin Interactive, instead of Delphine.

Chahi didn't have anything to do with it other than apparently making a few suggestions when team members asked, he considers Another World to be the only game in the series. He also re-acquired the rights to it way back in 2004 so he's got free reign with it. (One reason none of the fan ports to Dreamcast and stuff got shut down.)

Apparently the Heart of the Alien source code has been out there for some time and fans were making it compatible with modern hardware but with none of the visual "upgrades" (some of the takes on this on places like hardcoregaming101 and stuff are hilarious) and stuff like the anniversary editions.
