Speaking of RPGs, I just picked up golden sun for seven bucks. Is it worth playing or should i just leave it sealed and flip it later?

That's what I figured. I never see anybody raving about the game on forums, but at at price I couldn't pass it up.

This list changes from day to day and I'm probably forgetting several older games, but here are some five stars RPGs that I can name off the top of my head. Some might be on there for the sake of nostalgia since it's been a while since I last played them.

• Atelier Totori: The Adventurer of Arland
• Chrono Trigger
• Dark Souls
• Demon's Souls
• Diablo II
• EverQuest II
• Final Fantasy VI
• Final Fantasy IX
• Final Fantasy X
• Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions
• Folklore
• Legend of Grimrock
• Mass Effect
• Mount and Blade: Warband
• Quest for Glory: So You Want to Be a Hero
• Quest for Glory II: Trial by Fire
• Quest for Glory III: Wages of War
• Quest for Glory IV: Shadows of Darkness
• Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga
• Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne
• Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4
• Suikoden II
• Suikoden III
• Suikoden V
• The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall
• The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind
• The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
• The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
• Valkyria Chronicles
• Valkyrie Profile
• Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria
• Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines
• Wizardry: Tale of the Forsaken Land
• Ys Origin

Oblivion and FFIX... really?  Oblivion was just shit, and FFIX had half the skills not working.  There are so many on that list that dont deserve to be there but its your list so i will stop there.

Eh, you'd be surprised what atlus games can get once they go out of print.  I got 30 bucks for a sealed copy of rondo of swords last summer. Bought it for eight.

Shit, I got confused. I picked up 3D Dot Game Heros on clearance at the same time.

Might as well play Golden Sun now.

I would say Etrian Odyssey 3, with the caveat that it is very hard and can only recommend to expert rpg players. Radiant Historia is a great game with a gentle difficulty and interesting story. If story is important to you this is a good one. Also Strange Journey, solid dungeon crawling, AWESOME story, and not too hard either.

probably my most recommended DS games otoh
