I thought it was pretty enjoyable and better than WM, Brock/Roman and AJ/Nak rematches were better, cruiserweight match was better, ladder match was as good or better than the triple threat at WM, Bray and Matt work surprisingly well as a team (Del-Eaters of Worlds

), SD tag was about the same as the WM match, Jinder/Jeff was fine, Taker/Rusev was fine, HHH/Cena was a fun big time house show kind of main event and about as good as they're probably going to get at this stage anyway, Rumble was fun.

Granted I did watch it in 3 chunks so I'm sure that colors my opinion as opposed to sitting there for 7 hours straight like WM. The PR stuff and insistent terminology was kinda spooky but whatever. Kind of surprised they had a woman as the main focus of the PR video, half of Cena's gang of kids were little girls. and they showed a lot of women in the crowd.

For a sec I thought I saw Kwang. Then I realized it was a woman in a niqab chilling next to a mark with a replica title in shorts and a New Day shirt

Died at the Titus thing and Xavier trying to shoot a double on Kurt

at Kurt dropping Bryan right on his head though

AJ/Nak and Titus were the only things worth it imo. I thought the SD tag and Jinder/Jeff sucked matches sucked, and if English is out cuz old ass Takers knees are made of sand i'm gonna be bummed

The Saudi propaganda stuff was pretty bad too. Lol @ having a women come to tears because KSA is so dope cuz women can almost drive now

I haven't had a chance to get back to this show until just a few minutes ago. Taker/Rusev was over too quick to really be much, but it was still better than his match with Cena at Mania.

Don't care about Brock/Roman but letting it go on anyway. I just want to see the Rumble.

Why does Michael Cole continue to mark out for Elias? He's a heel and Cole is not a heel announcer. So weird.

The Titus botch was glorious.

No idea who some of these NXT guys were.

Too many guys who just came in and got immediately eliminated. LOL at Hawkins running away only for Strowman to go and throw him into the ring just so he can eliminate him, though.

Party-boy Khali music was great to hear again, but he had no business being there. Looked like he could barely walk.

Daniel Bryan so damn red by the end. Holy shit.

Are they going to do anything with the green belt Strowman won?

Oh I need to finish GRR at some point today. It's just really goddamn long and I can't do that in one sitting after WM. Stopped at AJ/Nak which was really excellent and way better than their WM match. Everything else ranged from fine to pretty good so far, so it's a solid event. I skipped over the commercials for Saudi stuff so can't comment on that.

The venue looks cool though and there's one mustached prince/rich dude in the front who cracks me up cause he seems to be the only one who gives a shit and just randomly is recording shit on his tablet/phone and actually watching the matches. No one else in the front seems to be paying attention for the most part but the rest of the arena is reacting well.

I dunno...Cole and Graves brought it up and played video, Roman brought it up and whined, and Seth brought it up to shrug about it. Hard to do much without Heyman there to rebutt it though.

Also, goddamn those french canucks love Seth. Been a while since he's gotten a reception like that. One other thing worth noting is that Coach was actually improved on commentary last night. Still not Booker tier but he's at least getting better.

Can't be too shocked that Titus is now "clumsy guy" as his gimmick but hey, at least he's on TV. No Way Jose still stinks. Alexa's segment on bullying was hilarious once again, especially the jab that Nia was mocking her "with a turkey leg in each hand".

I got super-bored after that awful Nia Jax/Bliss match, tuned out of a lot of the other stuff, and missed some of that. Guess that finish is why it wasn't the last match on the card.

Yeah, I more or less have the PPV on as background noise as I read, but the AJ/Nak match actually got me paying attention... only to be personally kicked in the nuts as punishment by Vince.

I really wish I could understand what they're going for with AJ/Nak. Two of the best in the world, with "history in Japan" they keep hyping, then they keep having matches with abrupt shitty finishes and the whole angle now seems to be about balls. It went from DREAM MATCH to 3 matches in the span of a month, none of which were particularly satisfying, and in another era would be leading to some kind of amazingly stupid gimmick match.

Also: co-branded ppvs are a mistake. Everyone on the lower/mid card is going to suffer because there's essentially no chance they're making a ppv now unless they're part of No Way Jose's conga line or whatever. The tag champs from both shows weren't involved in the ppv. It also leads to dumb, meaningless shit like the Reigns/Joe match, which there's no chance of paying off unless they wanna have ANOTHER match at a ppv, or if they decide to start having video segments from a non-brand wrestler show up regularly, but at that point why have a brand split...

Solution: fire 1/3 of the male wrestlers. I could probably make you a list right now on the spot, and to prove I'm serious I won't even include Randy Orton's name on it. Consolidate the tag belts, move all the dudes onto Raw, move all the women onto SD, create women's tag belts and a women's intercontinental title.

Or you know don't, whatever. I can't wait for Great Balls of Fire.
