No one watched Wrestle Kingdom?
Ibushi/Ospreay basically killed the show for the next 5 matches, Ibushi got KTFO legit at the end and stretchered away. Reported to be a concussion, although not serious, but "not serious" is what was originally said for Shibata having a fucking subdural hematoma and Hiromu having a broken neck

This rocket on Jay White

Dude is so unremarkable in every way, but they've given him back to back Dome matches against Tanahashi and Okada, 2018 had him get wins over Omega, Okada, and Tanahashi, and now a Dome win over Okada. He's just a bland foreigner who is athletic and nothing else. He STILL comes off as bootleg replacement Omega a year later, he's not nearly as athletic as Ospreay, not as technical or hateable as ZSJ, he doesn't have the charisma or likability of Juice Robinson, he's just a bland white guy getting a super push for some unknown reason.
Tag matches were completely skippable, Ishii/ZSJ was weirdly disappointing considering the greatness they produced against each other last year, Cody is unsurprisingly in the worst match on the show, Jericho/Naito needed to be shorter and Naito is still in the same purgatory he's been in for the last 3-4 years, Tanahashi/Omega is better than any of the Omega/Okada matches, the best Kenny match I've seen.
Overall it was a good show with some bleh in the middle, but opened and closed super hot. Seems likely that The Elite are all wrapping things up as every member of the group dropped falls from the pre-show to the main event. Thank Ace, because The Bucks ran their course quite a while ago, Cody has been trash and out of place his whole run, and Kenny's title reign went nowhere and he became corny as hell as soon as he won the title (and a large part of what made the match with Tana great was that he was in full dickhead mode instead of kawaii change the world I love the fans bullshit mode). Kenny Omega has not signed with AEW and was reported to have had a crazy offer from WWE and a meeting scheduled with Vince and HHH to make a final decision this week, so it will be interesting to see if he stays with NJ, signs with his friends, or takes the big money offer with WWE.
Couldn't be less interested with Jay White in the main event picture, which they're already putting into motion.
